\nAre you tired of your same-old sandwiches and in need of a change? Then, it's time to switch out your plain bread for something special — a biscuit. The following are two delicious sandwiches that are easy to make, as well as a basic biscuit recipe to get you started. <\/p>\n

Basic Biscuit Recipe <\/h2>\n

Makes approximately 24 biscuits.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/p>\n

\n
• 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting<\/li>\n
• 2 teaspoons salt<\/li>\n
• 2 tablespoons baking powder<\/li>\n
• 1 stick salted butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Directions:<\/p>\n

  \n
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.<\/li>\n
  2. Add flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.<\/li>\n
  3. Using a pastry cutter or a fork, cut the butter into the flour until your mixture looks like coarse crumbs. <\/li>\n
  4. Add milk and stir until a dough forms. <\/li>\n
  5. Pat the dough out to approximately three-quarter-inch thickness.<\/li>\n
  6. Use a 2-inch round cutter to cut the dough into circles.<\/li>\n
  7. Place the biscuits with their sides touching on a sheet pan. Refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes.<\/li>\n
  8. Take biscuits out of the refrigerator and place them in a preheated oven. Bake for approximately 10 to 14 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     Elevated Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich<\/h2>\n

     Ingredients:<\/p>\n

     \n
     • Raspberry jam<\/li>\n
     • 1 slice country ham <\/li>\n
     • 1 slice cheddar cheese <\/li>\n
     • 1 fried egg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       Directions:<\/p>\n

       \n
       1. Slice a biscuit open and spread raspberry jam on the bottom half.<\/li>\n
       2. Add the ham and the cheese and top with a fried egg. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Easy BBQ Chicken Biscuit Sandwich<\/h2>\n

          Ingredients:<\/p>\n

          \n
          • 3 cups shredded deli rotisserie chicken<\/li>\n
          • 3\/4 cup barbecue sauce<\/li>\n
          • Shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Directions: <\/p>\n

            \n
            1. In a bowl, stir together the chicken and barbecue sauce. <\/li>\n
            2. Microwave for about a minute or two to warm up the mixture. Cover the bowl with a paper towel to prevent splatters.<\/li>\n
            3. Cut a biscuit open and top with a small pile of chicken.<\/li>\n
            4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken and cover with the other half of the biscuit.<\/li>\n
            5. Repeat with the rest of the biscuits until the chicken mixture is completely used. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
